Botanical Bundle Dye

Sunday, August 18 | 1-4:30pm | Trout Lake, WA

Learn the science between different plants ‘tinctoria’ and explore the bounty of natural dyes with Julie Beeler at her Trout Lake studio and flower farm, Bloom & Dye. You’ll harvest farm fresh flowers to create bright bold accent colors, play with Japanese shibori techniques to create patterns and dye a linen dish towel or pair of napkins to take home using large quantities of flowers for a rich color palette.

This workshop benefits the Mt. St. Helens Institute and raises money for Science Education Programs. The entire fee, less a $10 materials cost, is donated to MSI.

*This workshop requires a minimum of 8 participants to sign up otherwise it will be cancelled and a refund will be sent.
