Julie Beeler conceived of the Bloom & Dye workshop series to grow her work and passion to benefit what she values most: curiosity, education, creativity, collaboration, community, and the environment.
I am delighted to be part of Adoration of Light, an exhibition curated by Iris Sullivan Daire (@dreambirdstudio) at Astoria Visual Arts (AVA). This remarkable group show celebrates the color yellow and the many natural sources of its brilliance, bringing together artists who explore pigments and dyes from the natural world. It is a true honor to exhibit alongside this inspiring group of artists whose work reflects the beauty, complexity, and wonder of yellow found in our environment. Adoration of Light will be on view throughout September at AVA in Astoria, Oregon. The opening reception is Saturday, September 12.
